Granddad's tree at Mary Gibbard Park
We just got home from planting Granddad’s tree. I will have a video posted sometime today that my friend Ashley did of the process. We had quite a crowd watching the planting. While I was talking to WSBT I realized that today it has been 6 months. It seems like it was just yesterday but yet seems like forever.
Thank you so much for all of the donations that made this possible! The plaque will be ready in a few weeks and I am still hoping to have enough to get a bench too.

Brandi, Tammi, Granddad, Scott and Christi on Scott's 60th birthday at Hacienda
Tomorrow morning I will be planting the tree with the guys from Twin Silos. It is supposed to only take about 20 minutes because they are bringing in the heavy equipment. A friend of mine is going to film it and we will have that up here on the website as soon as she gets edited. I have ordered the plaque and it should be in early August. I really would like everyone there when we place it below the tree. I am also trying to come up with a little bit more money to be able to place a low bench next to the tree.
I will let you know as soon as I find out the date for that part of the project.
