Tree Donation!

I had an email this morning from Don Davis of Twin Silo’s Nursery in New Carlisle wanting to donate the tree and the planting of it. I gave him a call and told him what I wanted and he offered a 15 foot Sugar Maple that will have a two and one half inch trunk diameter. I am going to go down to the nursery tomorrow to pick it out and he will deliver it next Tuesday and help me plant it.

So now, I am only about $240 short of my goal for the plaque. I am very optimistic that it will come in from donations. Thank you to everyone who has donated. We should have the plaque ready and be able to place it below the tree in early August.
